As the Director of Radius Security in Canada you will be focusing continuous improvement, work with and building teams, ensuring profitability, building the infrastructure to support current operations and future growth.

Reporting directly to the President and serving on the Executive team, you will help set the strategic direction of the business while driving operational success. You will have the privilege of leading a Customer Experience Manager, Installation and Service Manager, Project and Branch Operations Managers in Alberta & Ontario, Project Managers and Commercial Security Technicians.

COMPENSATION
Base Salary: $120 - $160 K (depending on years of relevant experience in a comparable role and industry), with bonus, the total comp for this role ranges from $150 - 200 K.
Job Description
CORE AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Collaborate with the Executive Team to define and implement the strategic objectives that will achieve the President’s vision.
- Actively contribute to the Executive Team, setting an example through alignment with the company's core DNA and values.
- Identify and implement opportunities for operational improvements and scalability by actively engaging with the team and understanding the business at its core.
- Streamline departmental processes to boost operational efficiency by identifying bottlenecks and working collaboratively to implement effective solutions.
- Foster a lean operational approach while leading effective change management practices. Ensure full adoption, proper training and communication with roll out of all changes.
Team Leadership & Development
- Establish and monitor KPIs to track performance, ensuring each team member has a clear scorecard with defined goals and expectations.
- Cultivate a culture of collaboration, accountability, and growth by leading by example for your leadership team.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with direct reports, providing timely feedback, coaching, and professional development opportunities. Act on insights from engagement surveys, exit interviews, and employee feedback.
- Hire top talent, ensuring the team is staffed for success, and hold managers accountable for delivering an exceptional onboarding and training experience.
- Enhance training programs for both managers and frontline team members, emphasizing skill development and career progression.
Financial Oversight
- Take ownership of the department’s financial health by managing budgets, monitoring expenses, and achieving profitability targets.
- Analyze operational costs and collaborate with the team to identify and implement cost-saving measures.
Customer Experience Excellence
- Work with the team on creating and continuously adapting The Radius Way to ensure our customer’s experience is legendary.
- Attend networking and association events to gather insights on customer needs and expectations, sharing feedback with stakeholders and driving necessary improvements.
Safety Leadership
- Champion a Culture of Safety within the Canadian operations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and continuous improvement of safety metrics.
- Collaborate with the Health & Safety Committee to address concerns, prioritize safety training, and embed continuous learning into departmental operations.

Requirements
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
- 8+ years of demonstrated experience in a senior leadership role, specifically managing business operations
- Industry experience in security or technology is an asset
- Bachelor’s degree in Business/Operations Management or Sales is preferred
- B2B Sales Experience is an asset
- Strong Emotional Intelligence (EQ), demonstrate humility, care, active listening, and resilience
- Excellent communication (winning recipe: engaging, clear, curious, and empathetic)

- Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate across various levels of the organization
- Project management skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously – formal training in lean methodology or project management is an asset
- Extensive knowledge of various operational functions and principles, including finance, customer service, production, and employee management.
- Proficient in data analysis and performance metrics, with hands-on experience using business management software such as ERP, and CRM.
